| HOW ABOUT... Like every year the "Streetballnight" takes place in the gymnasiums of the "Schulzentrum Süd" in Kaiserslautern. 300 people (players and spectators) are expected to come. The event is organized by the "Youth Alliance" Kaiserslautern in cooperation with the municipality of Kaiserslautern, the "Youth" department and the police. Part of the tournament are several special events like "3-Point-Shoot-Out", "Dunking-Contest" and the "Bump-Out". Everybody is welcome to participate in the "XXL-Shot" - this years jackpot is 123,- EUR. Of course food and beverages are offered for sale. Hall Opening 06:00 PM Check-In until 07:30 PM Start of the game 08:00 PM Here you can find out how to register. The starting fee is 30,- EUR/Team. Each player is going to receive a "Streetballnight" t-shirt, the price for the shirt is included in the starting fee. The maximum number of teams is limited to 50. The order of the teams is given by the time * the registration was receipted * the starting fee was receipted For organizational reasons the starting fee can only be refunded in case your team cannot take part because the maximum number of teams has been reached. |
Modus Teams are divided into the following categories * female / male / mixed * hobby and club players The below age groups are set: * 12 - 15 years * 16 - 18 years * 19 years and older Depending on the age group, matches will continue until * 12 - 15 years ca. 00:00 AM * 16 - 18 years ca. 02:00 AM * 19 years and older ca. 02:00 AM A team consists of 4 players. A team can consist of players (female and/or male) who belong to different age classes. The team is assigned to the age class of the oldest player. Since the classification of teams depends on the overall number of teams that are going to take part in the tournament, the classification can differ from what was mentioned above. As far as possible the winner of each group is determined in mode "all against all". Please don't forgett your student or ID card. Please leave valuables and larger amounts of money at home.
